3D Modeling
3D modeling lets you design objects on screen and then print, animate or simulate them. It’s used in engineering, product design, games and film.
Where to begin
- Parametric CAD: precise, dimension-driven parts for engineering and printing.
- Mesh modeling: free-form shapes for art, games and animation.
- 3D printing: turning a model into a physical object, including slicing and print settings.
First project
Design a simple phone stand or keychain. Keep it small, measure carefully, and iterate: print, test, adjust.
Pair it with Robotics by designing your own robot chassis.
